A date with one of my favorite baby girls ever!

My Christmas gift to Isla was an “ice-cream and reading party.” I’ve been telling her for weeks now, that I was going to pick her up, drive allllll the way to our house. Feed her “ice-cream on a stick” and read a biiiiiiiiiig huge pile of books. So we did it today!

Kaya and I still have reading parties today. We eat salty, buttery, yeasty popcorn and sit and read in the sun or into a quiet evening. We still love it. I hope it’s something I can share with Isla for a long, long time.

So here’s to many more “reading parties!”
