I’m almost done with this little baby blanket. It is just one thing on my list of many. It’s for a good friend’s baby. She was born two weeks early and one can already sense her quiet beauty.
I like the blanket’s simple structure and soft colors. It feels good to look at it, and it is soft. I picture it laying gently on this brand new child.
All the way in New York City. Far from the quiet desert.
